USES: Sermorelin is used to treat growth problems (usually in children) due to growth hormone deficiency. It works by stimulating the pituitary gland to release more natural growth hormone.
HOW TO USE: Learn how to prepare and inject the drug. Review the sermorelin Patient Information Insert. If any of the information is unclear, consult your doctor or pharmacist. When mixing this medication with a saline solution, aim the syringe containing the mixing solution (saline) against the inside wall of the vial; slowly inject the solution so it runs down the side of the vial and into the medication powder. Do not inject the solution directly into the medication. Doing so may cause this medication to be ineffective. Gently swirl the mixture until all the medication is dissolved completely. Do not shake the vial. Inject this medication under the skin (subcutaneously) usually once daily at bedtime; or use as directed by your doctor. The dosage is based on your weight, medical condition, and response to therapy. Before injecting each dose, clean the injection site with rubbing alcohol. It is important to change the location of the injection site daily to avoid problem areas under the skin. Before using, check this product visually for particles or discoloration. If either is present, do not use the liquid. Do not mix this medication to be used at a later time. Only use freshly mixed medication. Learn how to store and discard needles and medical supplies safely. Consult your pharmacist.

Sermorelin acetate (sermorelin) is the acetate salt of an amidated synthetic 29- amino acid peptide (GRF 1-29 NH 2 ) that corresponds to the amino-terminal segment of the naturally occurring human growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH or GRF) consisting of 44 amino acid residues. The structural formula for sermorelin acetate is:
The free base of sermorelin has the empirical formula C 149 H 246 N 44 O 42 S and a molecular weight of 3,358 daltons.
Sermorelin is a sterile, non-pyrogenic, lyophilized powder intended for subcutaneous injection after reconstitution with Sodium Chloride Injection, USP. The reconstituted solution has a pH of 5.0 to 5.5.
Sermorelin is available in vials. The quantitative composition per vial is:
0.5 mg vial: Each vial contains 0.5 mg sermorelin (as the acetate) and 5 mg mannitol. The pH is adjusted with dibasic sodium phosphate and monobasic sodium phosphate buffer. 3.0 mg vial: Each vial contains 3.0 mg sermorelin (as the acetate) and 5 mg mannitol. The pH is adjusted with dibasic sodium phosphate and monobasic sodium phosphate buffer.

Human growth hormone (HGH) is produced naturally in our bodies, but the levels decline as we age. Since the 1980s it has been possible to supplement using recombinant growth hormone to maintain youthful levels of HGH, resulting in numerous benefits to mind and body, but Human Growth Hormone can have a number of side effects if unmonitored and if it is taken in too great a quantity. Do you know of any studies demonstrating that sublingual administration of Sermorelin does produce higher levels of HGH?
A small study has been done but we are not yet allowed to release results pending its publication. Dr. Walker has talked about this subject in some detail however in his latest interview which is uploaded here.
As Sermorelin is 29 amino-acids doesnt it have to be injected? Is it possible to transport anything across the cells with a molecular weight of 33358 moles?
The weight of a molecule is the sum of the weights of its atoms. The unit of such weight is called the dalton. Thus, the molecular weight (MW) of sermorelin is 33,358 daltons. A mole is the quantity of a substance whose weight in grams is equal to the molecular weight of the substance. In other words, a dalton is a measure of weight whereas a mole is a measure of quantity or amount.
