Our expert said, Yes, eggs help in managing weight. They are rich in protein and low in carbohydrates which make them a good food for weight loss.

Eggs are rich in protein and naturally occurring fat, so they keep you satisfied for a longer period of time, further preventing you from getting those hunger pangs frequently which make you consume more calories throughout the day.

Eggs are low in carbohydrate content, which limits the amount of glucose released after consumption. Low carb diet is usually recommended for weight loss so this way, eggs help you lose weight quickly.

The metabolic rate of your body helps you understand the number of calories your body burns as your body performs different functions through the day. It thus plays a key role in your weight loss journey. Eggs are a protein-rich food that may help you burn more calories because they boost your metabolism.
